Visual Art, a Sweden-based digital communications company, has taken over operations from Ocean MediaTech, a digital signage producer, according to a company press release.
With the acquisition, Visual Art will continue to expand its digital signage software solutions across Europe. The company is present in eight European markets.
Visual Art’s client portfolio includes McDonald’s, ICA, Kesko, Circle K, NIO, 7-Eleven and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. The addition of Ocean MediaTech adds customers such as Synsam and Skruf adding over €4 million to Visual Art’s annual revenue.
“We are in a phase of strong expansion and are incredibly pleased to be able to partner with clients who, like us, are on strong growth in Europe,” said Anders Apelgren, CEO of Visual Art Group, in the press release. “We are also welcoming new employees who have strong LED knowledge and will continue our strong partnership with the Ocean Outdoor Group. We will continue to invest in our digital signage software and other innovative solutions such as the AI solution which we started supplying to a fast food chain in 2020 to, among other things, increase the average revenue.”
Ocean MediaTech officially becomes part of Visual Art on February 1.
