Tour showcases local art collections for the community August 12-21 – The Madison Record

Tickets are now on sale for the Arts Huntsville Homes Art Tour and Preview Party

HUNTSVILLE Inspiration is around the corner during Arts Huntsville’s Art Tour of Homes. This year’s event, presented by Bank Independent, will take place on Saturday 21 August. Once again, five local homeowners and art lovers will open their homes to the public to inspire visitors to start or grow their own art collection, with a sixth home featured at an exclusive preview night on Thursday, August 12. .

Exclusive preview

The Art Tour Preview Party, presented by Bridgeworth Wealth Management, is an exclusive fundraising event featuring a sixth house that is not part of the public tour. The Preview Party will take place on Thursday August 12 from 6-9pm at Lynne & Joe Vallely’s home in the Old Town. This special social event will feature hearty hors d’oeuvres and drinks as attendees mingle with fellow art enthusiasts and explore the Valley’s eclectic collection of local and regional art.

Tickets are $100, advance only, and include a ticket for the public art tour on Saturday, August 21. Tickets must be purchased by Friday August 6th. This event serves as a fundraiser to support Arts Huntsville’s ongoing arts and culture programs. throughout the year, including year-round promotions of area arts events and Arts Huntsville community events like the Panoply Arts Festival and the Monte Sano Art Festival.

Artistic visit of the houses
The Art Tour of Homes will take place on Saturday, August 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are $20, available in advance online and the day of, at each home, with exact cash, PayPal or Venmo. Tickets are also available for purchase at the following Home Sponsor stores from Saturday, July 24 through the tour date: Pic-A-Frame, Salon Ka-Terra and The Little Green Store.

Homes featured this year include: Cheri & Neal Bunn’s Blossomwood House; the Oak Park home of Lindsey Pattillo Keane and Cathal Keane; Dorrie & Jerry Nutt’s Blossomwood House; Tyler Ledbetter’s North Whitesburg Medical Home; and Linda & Randy Sandlin’s Blossomwood House.
